Hello! I am on the ceac.state.gov website attempting to start the DS-160 application. But I can’t access it. After I select the country & enter the CAPTCHA code it keeps sending me to a screen saying “Session Timed Out”. Not once have I been able to access the application. Has anyone else experienced this? • Use Chrome as your browser. Many have reported no problems when using Chrome

• Press "SAVE" every time you finish a page of the form.
• If the session times out again:
• Clear browser cookies and cache.
• Close the browser (not just the tab), wait a minute, re-open browser.
• Retrieve application and continue filling out the form.

We called NVC to check if they received our papers after more than 2 weeks of NOA 2 ,but they still haven’t  from USCIS 😕

what is the trending time to receive papers n assign case number and then send to respective embassy

There is a PDF on the first page first post of this thread with every step that should be taken and tips, tricks and hacks to understand each step. Since these tips were generated from all the years I have been here, I know you will ask them at some time as they have been asked a thousand times by others, so I thought I would create a PDF that you can use as a guide so we don't have to see the question asked again and again and we can help with other types of "problems". I hope you find the PDF helpful.

We have an appointment in 2 days and i noticed the email says:

 

1. printout the appointment letter for your interview 

 

2. printout payment confirmation 

 

 

I am sure where to get a copy of these.  I paid using my credit card online. Any advice?

It’s an email with the subject DoS K Visa Application (action required)

 

it shows that the fees have been paid and the interview date

do you know what they are referring to here?  I found the DoS k visa email but not sure what this means below:

“Along with letter or email you received from the consular section”

I *think* they mean the packet 4 letter. At least that’s what they asked for at my medical.

2.  Email with payment and interview date( the one with subject DoS K visa application(action required)

3. p4 email

I can’t believe we interview people from Canada. Each time we elect a crazy president, everyone in the USA talks about moving to Canada.  its our country of hope for a better future. Too bad its soo cold there.

We have the email printed that has interview date and payment information. We also have ds-160 confirmation page

 

 

i paid and scheduled using my phone so I didn’t have any online info. I will try to look later but i think we are set.
