Called the NVC this morning at 10am ET. Was on hold exactly 1hour and then it hung up on me. 😡

Called back at 4pm ET and was only on hold 7 minutes. Got my case number and was told it's now in AP and getting ready to be shipped to the embassy. According to the julian date though my number was created Sat Aug 3rd so I'm sure it wont be until the next shipment on Aug 20th & not tomorrow.

NOA1 4/1

NOA2 7/10

NVC date created 8/3

Saturday was the day my fiance went back to Northern Ireland after a 89 day stay too. Such a fitting day to get a number.

You are ready to rock and roll now!

Today is a big day for some as your case file may ship out to your embassy. Check CEAC for updated progress and look for "in transit"!! If that shows you are on your way. Shipments are throughout today and tomorrow so don't get discourage if your record at CEAC has not changed over to "in transit” Also, for those who want to have a little fun in tracking your shipment see the DHL hack on the first page of this thread NUMBER 19 for instructions. NOTE: The DHL hack information will not be available till Wednesday as the DHL and NVC computers must sync with each other to produce the outcome.

You have three stages 1) transit - shipment is in the air or soon will be, 2) received - physical case file is at the Embassy and 3) ready - your case is ready to schedule and complete your interview.  These will be your current state or status to your case file once you have received the case number. Once your record is set to "ready" you are ready to proceed in processing your next steps as listed in your P3 for your embassy.  I have most P3 if you hit me up with a request, I will post back the links.

Please don't screenshot and post your CEAC status as it just clutters up the thread. We all know what it looks like. Let us know your progress as we want to celebrate with you. Good luck.

Btw I remember reading somewhere that if you already have your case number from NVC, can you pay the visa fee and schedule the interview? Or will definitely wait for eligibility letter? I'm just kind of confuse some says you can and others you cannot.

Here are the documents that you need to access to help answer those and many more questions. Hank has an excellent website that walks you through this process step by step, link is below.

Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will only prepare you for your interview.

Manila US Embassy states that a scanned copy of the signed I-134 is fine, if you don't have the original.

I don't have a Packet 3 letter that has all the requirements for your upcoming interview but what I have I will share below. Once you get in touch with your Embassy and they send you the P3 letter with all the requirements if would be so kind and share a copy with me then I can use it to help others in the future. Thanks.

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community that comes behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.

Hi, my status on ceac just went to in transit this is what it say

"

Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center. "

My question is about the interview part. Nvc will provide me with a interview date. It's confusing.

NVC will not provide your interview date, you do that through  your embassy.
