OK, sigh man.

Our back is nearly complete toast, completely re-hosed man.

We cannot lie down, sit, stand, or walk, no man.

We think we yelled every time we stood up from our executive POTS desk, from others' reactions man.

We nearly needed a wheelchair to get ourself to the POTS limousine, last one out of office man.

We travel to the Fizzicle Therapist on Wed. eve, presuming our mobility man.

 

This is not good, no man.

We must take cat to vet on Fri., heavy man.

We must mow full lawn on weekend, mandatory man.

We must do laundry on Sunday, mandatory man.

We must pack and sling suitcases, pre-Ecu man.

We must sit on two Many-hour plane flights, get there man.

We must not hose the trip with drama or hospitals, says Mrs. T-B. man.

There is much riding on this visit to Fizzicle Therapist, si man.

Will shoot for earlier Fizzicle Therapy caucus, added flexibility man.

Speaking of shooting, did shoot cat this morning, albeit half an hour later than usual, elusive miu man.

Last day of school here. Late June. It's because of the 15 extra "ethnic observations" holidays. 

Soon, summer vacation will be about 2 weeks long.

Eh, last day of state exams back when I was in HS in NY state was in the last week of June, and the only non-national holidays we had off were Jewish holidays. Of course, we also had a week off in February for no particular reason, and having a decent budget for snow days makes sense in the Syracuse suburbs ...

That is the way it was for my older kids in Canada. They also didn't start school until after Labour Day. 

 

Here they get on in May, but start the 3rd week in August 

 

My two littles will start in August but we will be done most likely in by April. I will have have all the lessons done by then as I know once the end of the year comes we will slack off.

I remember when I went to school, the year ended around June 10th. We didn't celebrate everybody's holidays by closing the schools.

Dont cause drama? You can barely move about! Id be like, here's yer drama, go by yourself and stay there.

Late June it has always been for public schools in NY as long as I've been alive. Our schools didn't have air conditioning, so that was intense.

Off in late May, back after Labor Day here. It is a super long summer break.

Aaah, the regents. I remember those. I used to take them in extra subjects just for fun.

 

We had Jewish holidays even when I went to private school, but we had a sizable Jewish community. Syracuse doesn't seem like it does?

We went up until the last week in June, and back after Labor Day. Only shut Easter,  November 11 and  10 days at Christmas. We did not have snow days that I can recall. If it looked to be stormy in the winter, the bus kids went home, those of us in the village stayed put.  Mind you, the village was actually a hamlet (so said my first traffic ticket) and you could walk home to anywhere in a few minutes.

 

Very hot and humid here. And, the lawn awaits.

Non-trivial, at least in the suburb I lived in then. But it might be a New York State thing, which would make sense.
