Hello,

 

In submitting proof of ongoing relationship specifically the pictures during the k1 visa interview, I've seen people doing it in a scrapbook type. I'm even considering doing it in a picture book. But is it really necessary?

Does this mean I have to do it in a scrapbook type or I could just print the pictures and put it in the envelope? Album? Or on a bond paper?

We printed out 22 or so photos in photo paper (regular size) and put them inside of a plastic baggie and inside the packet. No fancy scrapbook or anything else

I agree with @Mary&Rafa.  No need to get fancy.  I would make it easy for them to scan the pictures into their system.....and I wouldn't bother with a lot of them since pictures don't carry a great deal of weight.  A few is enough, imo.

For all USCIS care, you can just throw those photos lose in the envelope.

We labeled ours with sticky notes on the back and put them in a ziplock bag.

I took my digital photos and pasted them 4 to a page in a word document. I have a laser printer (do not attempt to use bond paper as you will get low quality) and I printed using it and the photos were near the picture you would get on photo paper. I sent three sheets for a total of 12 photos. Most office stores can print on a laser printer if you do not have access to one.  I had no problems.

Correction: Don't use a ink jet printer on bond paper. For best quality use a laser printer on bond paper is fine.

FWIW, the nice thing about the "copy pictures to a Word document and print multiple pictures per page" method is that then it's easy to caption the pictures with dates, locations, and names of everyone important to you in them -- and no USCIS employees have to try and read your handwriting.

I would concentrate on demonstrating the period of time between filing and interview if you have been together during that time.   It is important to show not only a bonafide relationship but that it is continuing

I'm too focused on the photos haha
