Got the appointment letter for AOS yesterday with an interview date of Oct 28. Like a lot of people we never got the biometrics letter until way later, I think early September. But a week after getting the fingerprints done they sent the interview letter.

Has anyone had any luck moving their interview up? We are in the Cleveland office and Its less busy, so maybe there is a chance. I think they just auto schedule you 6 weeks out so who knows.

I personally have no idea, send my package May 25th, NOA date May 31st, priority date May 28th, bio letter received June 7th - biometrics done June 28th... I have not heard a word since. Not a single update, case still sits at "finger print fee received- case received" 😢

Good luck with and at your interview!

EAD combined in hand 23rd September

Expedited. Not sure if it made any difference.

Do you mind share how you expedited your EAD? Thank you!

Bit of an anticlimax really!

I also had 2 letters,  both notifications saying that my EAD and AP has been approved and it will be mailed to me shortly.

Still, at least it's moving along. Hope you get your combined card in hand today!!

It was the biometrics for the I-485!  Still good news though.  Seems like now we're where we should be anyway... Hopefully the wait won't be too long from here.

Got an update from USCIS today -

"As of September 24, 2019, we completed our review of your fingerprints and are working on your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization... "

Based on my understanding - if all goes well then it should head towards approval and card production.   Anyone with knowledge of a general timeline between this step and next one?

YMMV

OK.  Gonna stop posting here if we're all just sharing personal experiences.

Thanks

USCIS released 3rd quarter I-485 statistics. Yes, I realize that in upper right corner it says 2018, but this was published under 2019 data. Seems like backlog reduction all across the board including SF.

Did you get online updates prior to ead approval, like "finger prints reviewed" Or just when the EAD was approved?

4-6 months from filing date. Biometrics doesn’t change anything

For those that received EAD already, did you receive your ssn card with it or a separate letter? We’ve had no luck with the SSO for the passed 6 months and I don’t want to have to deal with them anymore. We checked the block on the AOS papers for USCIS to process the ssn since the SSO messed up so badly.
