I wonder why POtOMAC only has US citizens processing time/estimated times on official sites and not others.

My understanding is they did not process F2A so long but now due to work load transfers some I-130's have been transferred to them. So, hopefully they will give you an estimate soon.

Received a case got transferred email. My PD is Jan 2018. No idea which service center yet. Online status shows similar info.

I think they've transferred most if not all cases from November, December, January and up to February from CSC to somewhere else from what I seen based on reports from people all over the interwebz.

Every other service center "Receipt Date for Case inquiry" is above Feb 2018. Let's see how much traction we have in the next month or two.

Best case scenario for folks who got transferred, you get approved in a month or so and can somehow get past NVC in 2 months time before they evaluate F2A category "C" status again in September.

Best wishes and good luck! 🤞

You got letter where your case transferred my PD 22 January my case transferred 9 july but I m waiting for letter

Yeah got the transfer letter and it went to Nebraska. Based on the trends I see, all Jan F2A filers went to Nebraska, Feb went to TX, March went to Vermont and some few people went to Potomac.

It amazes me that I hear people whose cases are still in CA getting approved with some PD up to March 2018. Now every case is different with varying level of complexity but I believe some sort of prioritization is done on their end to process cases which seems haphazard to us. When they state"We ask that you allow additional time for this process to take place since we process these cases in the order received." as a standard form of communication, to me it's a complete misrepresentation IMO. Sigh, that's just me.

I agree to this as i think(just my opinion) there is some kind of prioritization along with PD.I think so because i don't see a lot of I-130 approvals for people who are adjusting status here in US and have their I-130 PD in Jan/Feb/March.

They obviously don’t process byPD or there would be no random approvals. How can it be in date order when some are approved with PDs dated 2018 when many are still waiting with PDs in 2017. May have something to do with country quotas? What would be the point in processing applicants with a long wait at NVC while some applicants have a short wait at NVC. Maybe they group them by country within the USCIS and then date sort them ?
