100% have it planned out. I said I'm going to Tokyo, I'm the sponsor so I'm free to go as I please 😜

This is just another visit to get more of her things, going away parties, engagement pictures and spend more time with her friends. She's not buying tickets until the visa is in hand. Even then, we're not ready for her to move here until late August, so unless for some reason the visa sits in AP for months (which from what I can tell, is rare in Japan, especially for a "simple" case like ours) we should be fine.

Funny thing is everyone thinks their case is simple then the other shoe drops.

Hard to get much simpler than never married before and no need for a co-sponsor. But, I did leave enough wiggle room in what I said in case the universe decides to screw us. Regardless, nothing has been purchased on her end of things yet until we see that packet and passport back.

I need help,

I'm filling DS 160, I need to give application receipt/perition number and I'm confused which one is that. The first given by USCIS or the second NVC?

Use the case number.

Thank you, and what about my previous marriage do I need a certificate of that or only my divorce proof?

Refer to what is needed for your interview.

Everything needed for Poland is in this PDF.

Any applicant who has been previously married must obtain evidence of the termination of each prior marriage such as final divorce decree, death certificate or annulment.

What you need is right there in the P3/website.

Always make copies of whatever you submit.

Hi Everybody,

Had my interview yesterday. Visa approved but on one condition. I had to send back via email an extra affidavit of support instead of the co sponsor document we filled in.

I don't know how it is working elsewhere but in Belgium they do not accept I-864A for K1. They need an extra affidavit on the name of the co sponsor...

But it's a formality as the consul said that it is approved, I just need to send them the correct document via email. I did it, I should receive my visa in 4 business days ❤️

Leaving in 45 days to join my fiance finally

lots of love to everybody here

Cosponsor for K1 use the I-134 as also does the beneficiary. Both will use the I-864 for the AOS after marriage.

That's what they told me at the embassy ... a bit late ....

But the Consul was really nice and understanding or probably annoyed by my tears as he was kind enough to let me send the extra affidavit via email.
