Honest question here - how can the term "anti-vaxxer" be offensive if you've clearly and willingly stated, multiple times, that you choose not to vaccinate because you don't believe/trust/whatever them as they are currently produced and/or administered...? That's literally what you are - anti (against) vaccinating, no?

 

Just seems a bit dramatic to me. If navigating a particular topic of conversation is uncomfortable or offensive for you because of the use of (valid) terminology used while discussing said topic, then perhaps you could just choose to not participate in that dialogue, instead of calling for people to be banned. I think someone already said - if someone were calling you that, in a derogatory manner or along with some other choice derogatory words, that's a different story. But using the term alone seems pretty fair, given what's being discussed.

 

 

Side note: the existence and use of vaccinations saved my dad's life as a child, which I'm personally grateful for considering my existence is a direct result of his continued existence, so I'm pro-vaxxer myself. Feel free to use that term around me, no hard feelings here. :)

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
