Yes, same here, dropped from May 2020 to February 2020 for Chicago field office.

 

But then, when looking at the Citizenship timeline here on VJ for Chicago, most people seem to be getting their interview 5-6 months from filing. So there is that.

It always surprises me how few people there are from NYC in this forum. For example, in that list of March filers I don't see a single one from NYC. Given this city has the most applicants of any place in the country, it's surprising so few of them are here especially given how long the wait is!!!!

I'm assuming our wait times will be updated on a monthly basis, could be less could be more! Seems like another roller coaster added to our journey of ups and downs! Imagine if the payment was only due when the case was being actively reviewed.

Unfortunately, we had to cancel the appointment as we will be moving to Hawaii on June 11 (got plane tickets and everything months ago). I was hoping we would get the appointment before then  So we had to sent them a letter explaining everything to them and I'm asking them to transfer my application to Honolulu to get the interview there. 

 

I know my application is going to fall into so many cracks and there's going to be a delay ... but we don't have a choice. I am hoping things move as fast as they did at Indianapolis USCIS center ... *fingers-crossed*

Haven't heard anything since I sent the letter explaining our situation on May 4th ... I have no expectations ... has anyone heard of a situation similar to mine? Does anyone know what might be happening/not happening to my application?

I've just checked my case status through USCIS Case Status Online page, and it says that today my Interview was scheduled! I don't even know the interview date yet, but I'm super excited 🤩 I'm a 90 days early filer, so it seems that they were waiting for my green card anniversary date, which is today, to proceed with the interview scheduling.

Yay! Congratulations:-) I'm a Portland filer also (April 23rd) so I am stoked to see another person from Oregon get scheduled! I am excited to follow the progress of your case. Also, congrats on your gc anniversary 🙂
