Two more months, just out of nowhere.   

There was a system-wide update it seems of all estimated case completion times. Mine got worse by 2 months, from February 2020 to April 2020.

They adjusted them according to our local field processing time. If your case have huge Case Backlogs, system will add more months though your case,  If the local filed have less and less backlogs the month will reduce on your completion time. I just called USCIS Level 2 they told me that. youpii loll

Yes, that makes sense. And NYC has 30,000 cases backlogged...omg.

I am in Houston and it went from March 2021 to August 2020 🤣. I guess it's better than 2021, still a long wait compared to other cities.

I just check and saw my case completion time down from April 2020 to Dec 2019.

Hmmm checked and our time increased to July 2020 was Feb 2020. 😩

 

To be honest I don’t believe the automated system it’s so out of whack it’s borderline useless.

Hello everyone, 

 

Went to my interview on 5/13 and was recommended for approval that day. Didn't hear a thing from USCIS and got a pleasant surprise when I logged onto my account today and saw that my ceremony has been scheduled for 8/1/19. The Montgomery office has jurisdiction over the Florida Panhandle immigration cases and they like to batch all Floridians and do a naturalization ceremony every few months in Florida apparently. 

 

The case officer was very nice and luckily it didn't feel like an interview, more like a friendly chat while I was waiting on him to process paperwork. I uploaded a lot of evidence to show how my husband and I are "financially joint" and brought newer bills and statements to the interview but he didn't ask to see them and said it's highly unlikely the quality review would require it since it's only been 2 months. Also brought all our passports, current and expired, which he did ask to see but didn't touch after I pulled them out.
