By the way, my status is also still showing reviewing biometrics (since biometrics walk in on 3/29/19) and I don't expect that to change until I get my interview date (which will probably take a couple of months here in Chicago).

My wife just received an email saying that there are no updates  from April 2nd and are still reviewing your documents.  It's funny how cases within the same office can vary, but that's how these things work.  We're just biding our time and patiently waiting.  Best of luck to everyone.

Hi everyone. So, I went thru my interview today.  I passed the Civics and English language test. The adjudicator recommended me for approval. And I already see the changes in my case status on the www.egov.uscis.gov website. 

 

The whole interview experience was a bit confusing. But I believe this is because of the officer’s personality. He was trying to rush the process constantly watching on the wall clock and was unorganized jumping from one thing to another.  And he was mumbling and reading the questions really fast. So, I would definitely recommend reviewing some interview simulation videos that are available on youtube, just to have an idea what questions you can be asked. Also, he had some technical issues with his computer during my interview. But in the end he approved my application which was the only thing that I cared about. Alltogether it took about 30 minutes. He gave me a paper where he marked that I passed the English language and American history tests, and also the part that my application was recommended for approval. He advised that I should receive a letter in mail within 2- 4 weeks. Let’s see   I am very happy that this part is over. Hopefully they approve it after the quality review and it will be done.

Anyway, I want to say thank you to all you guys for support and help in this long and difficult process, and wish you all good luck and easy interview process.

Hello everyone,

 

I submitted my n400 online application on March 24, 2019. I was scheduled for biometrics on April 17. I received my scheduled interview letter on May 2nd stating that my interview is going to be on June 20th.  Everything is filed in Indianapolis, IN USCIS center. 

 

Unfortunately, we had to cancel the appointment as we will be moving to Hawaii on June 11 (got plane tickets and everything months ago). I was hoping we would get the appointment before then  So we had to sent them a letter explaining everything to them and I'm asking them to transfer my application to Honolulu to get the interview there. 

 

I know my application is going to fall into so many cracks and there's going to be a delay ... but we don't have a choice. I am hoping things move as fast as they did at Indianapolis USCIS center ... *fingers-crossed*

Just so hard to see some people apply way after u and got an interview before u.Cheek hialeah processing time and it moves from 6.5 months to 7 months up to a year.
