I think it’s fine. I submitted mine with only 2015-2017 tax returns as the 2018 weren’t available yet at the time I submitted my AOS. Many people say it’s fine because USCIS knows the deadline for filing tax returns isn’t until April 15.

Thank you so much. So thats basically the same financial documents used for the K1 process

Hey everyone, I had my Biometrics appointment today - got the appointment letter a week ago for the Brooklyn office at 11am today, I turned up and the office is closed today due to unforeseen weather (a little bit of snow), the Manhattan office was also closed. So, I took a trip out to Elizabeth New Jersey and asked very politely to get the biometrics done there - after a nearly 2 hour wait I got it done and headed home. I'm just glad I didn't have to wait for USCIS to reschedule and appointment for me!

Exactly, but I’ll see. I hope I won’t get an RFE for that. I’ll have my biometrics this Thursday.

Hi guys, Feb 2019 AOS filer.....

I mailed my forms I-864 (affidavit of support) , I-485 (adjustment status), I-765 (employment authorization) and I-131 (travel document) on Feb 16, 2019 along with G-1145 through the USPS and tracked it. It arrived on Feb 19, 2019 but haven't heard anything yet. Not even our check has been cashed. Anyone else with this problem this month?? 😟

Coming from the KING of Wait Whining, my timeline is:

1/25 - sent

1/28 - recd

2/13 - NOA1 (!!!!)  yep - 16 days later!

2/15 - bio's scheduled

3/4 - bio's taken

I was just as frustrated with the 16 day wait.  So, I called USCIS on 2/12, and spoke to the first level support, who agreed that the initial 15-day period was long enough to wait, and forwarded me on to the Escalated level, where you speak with an Officer.  The Officer suggested I email the Lock Box Support account, which I did just moments later.  And the VERY next day - text messages and emails flowed acknowledging each of the 4 applications, and payments made.

Did my HUGE folder fall behind the heater and forget to be picked-up, or?

Hang in there!  I feel ya!

I have the same problem as you do. Did you do via USPS or FEDex?

Yeah my timeline is:

1/30 - sent

2/04 - received

2/18 - NOA1 (emails)

2/24 - NOA1s in mail

3/4 - Bios taken (not in Brooklyn as it was closed - went to New Jersey and asked nicely)

I went with calling the post office and they confirmed my package had been picked up on the 4th Feb - but nothing happened for 2 weeks, I was close to calling USCIS but got the emails on the 18th.  I think they are getting through them super slowly at the moment...... frustrating, but we're all in the same boat!

Most of the people got RFE for not sending the latest 2018 tax return. You can read the previous month's AOS filers. It is better to send the latest tax return to avoid any RFE or delays.

Yes you are right. I got RFE without sending the most current tax return. But lucking my hubby and I were able to file 2018 tax and we have responded to the RFE. Now I am waiting for a miracle 😃
