Has anyone tried calling today?

My fiance is on night shifts, so have to wait until he wakes up..

And does anyone know if NVC sends updates via email after Ask NVC was used?

I'm going to be making a call this evening. I know it's very unlikely they've received many packets from the 4 Feb to 8 Feb group, but it doesn't take much to call and check.

I just called, 30 min to find out nothing still on my 2/1/19 NOA2.

I called and found out my case arrived and got the case # on the same day, Feb. 14th.

It is not in transit, still at NVC. Was given an invoice ID #, and was also told they will send an email.

How long should I wait to follow up again?

Wait till after the 5th and then check CEAC status. You'll be shipping out on the 5th for sure.

me too, Feb1! 😭

I'm not calling until the evening because statuses change throughout the day. When you call before 1 or 2 you're pretty much just finding out info from the previous day.

Ha, interesting.

Yea, it's possible that people receiving case numbers before the weekend will slip in, but having them by close of business Thursday would be a better bet. No holiday this Monday like last time so it should give a little extra wiggle room. Last time the cutoff was Wednesday, but usually it's Thursday or even Friday.

So I filled out the Ask NVC form sometime last week and i got an automated e-mail stating the following on 2.25.19 (see attached image)

I called this morning (40 minute wait....ughhhhh) they are telling me they have not even received the case from the USCIS and it could take up to 6 weeks call after that time.

Should i be worried? why is the e-mail saying they received and NVC on the phone is saying something different?  RECEIPT DATE FROM USCIS 2.5.19

That's strange. You may have timed it just right and it's only "partly" in the system. Just enough that it shows that it made the mail room, but not enough that it's showing "received" in the system. Maybe try calling again tonight or tomorrow afternoon. You might be one of the lucky ones that has slipped in.

Hey guys, I read on a facebook group tha packages from USCIS are sent to NVC every two weeks. The last one  arrived on February 19th and the next one will arrive on March 5th.

I don´t know if this is correct or not, but I have NOA2 dated  February 12th and waiting for NVC numer file soon. I was going to start callieng NVC after a month of waiting.

Good luck to everyone waiting outhere!

I would be too, that's exciting. I received at email yesterday, but it just said they had no record of it in the system.

that is incorrect. they are sent FROM nvc on those dates, not TO.
