Mine used to show at embassy then out for delivery then ready for pick up....can you track your Passport and see what that says

Hahaha thanks for the suggestion. We looked on the aramex tracking app and saw it was delivered, therefore ready for pick up today. My fiancé just got back from picking it up! US arrival in 48 hours! 😀😀😀

Be sure everything is correct on the visa. DON'T  assume it is. Someone in another thread had to return to their embassy for a correction.  Took 3 days.

Hello everyone please I have submitted every documents that the embassy requested for and the lady said I have everything they want. Also I was told by the lady that they will email me the interview date and I have not get any email or call from them since 10th May, which my NOA2 is going to expire in June. Any advice on what to do at this point. ?

I would recommend that you send an email to the embassy requesting an interview date and requesting that your NOA2 expirations date be extended for the normal next 4 months. The request for the extension should be a clear sign to whomever at the embassy that you have waited awhile for an interview date. Let's see how the respond to your email.  consularnicosia@state.gov

Greenbaum do you know if it’s a problem that my NOA2 expires at the end of the month but I’m still in AP by the embassy? I’m post interview 1 month.

NOA2 expiration date is dead. You have no concern once you interview. Before the interview there is a concern after no.

Thank you that is very comforting to know. I read things about cases getting sent back to USCIS after interview and then people having to reapply once their NOA2 date was reached. Not sure if that’s a possibility thank you for clarifying

The possibility your file being returned to USCIS after your  interview is as remote as me purchasing the Eiffel Tower. Your mind is working overtime. :D

That's pretty good. They answered both questions. Q1 I believe that next week you should hear something. Just a guess.  Q2 They will go ahead and move your expiration date out 4 more months. Once you have your interview you can stop worrying about the NOA2 exp date as for al tense and purposes it's DEAD. Your next date is the visa expiration date where you have to be in the US before it expires.

Hey @Greenbaum I’m being reading this post and I didn’t know that the NOA2 is only valid for 4 months. My expire June 19. I schedule the vaccinations June 28 and the interview July 18. I did this because my girlfriend is about to give birth in the next 2 or 3 weeks. Like I said, I didn’t know about the NOA2 is only 4 months. What can I do now? Is there any way I can request an extension because my girlfriend pregnancy?

Thank you
