Honestly at this point I'd even be fine with him declaring a state of emergency and skipping congress, this has gotten utterly ridiculous. How long do they expect people to work without pay? and some of those people are like...important people. Eventually I'd have no choice but to walk out and find a different job. I don't care how many people would advise me against it, or say that I can't do it, try to impeach me lol(I know what Napolitano said, but I'd probably still go for it, because well, that's how I roll).

 

Meanwhile they're proposing silly bills like this:

But it will boost the economy!  It will probably do a lot to boost inflation.  I am surprised they only got 31 co-sponsors in the Senate.

We are all getting tired of hearing about the wall and concerned for folks not getting paid.  We all know that walls work, even the liberals that try to say they don't.  

 

There is an easy way to end all this.  Dems need to throw POTUS a bone.  Offer up 2 or 2.5 billion. Maybe ask for other considerations.

 

Could be a win for both sides.  Trump didn't get all he wanted, yet some of the wall gets built.

 

Time to end this.

Agree, but I would add that any money allocated should be able to be used at the discretion of DHS.  Not sure having Washington politicians micromanage for political purposes is helpful.  That being said, the DHS should still be overseen by the Congress to make sure the money is being used effectively.

That is my criticism of Trump right now. He should realize the radical left can't be reasoned with and you can't make deals with them. He should have already declared a state of emergency. What is he waiting for?
