Hi everyone, i plan to apply a tourist visa for my nephew.  My mom was granted a multiple visa already a while back  and will be accompanying my nephew to come visit me here  . Any possibilities that my nephew will be granted a tourist visa? Thank you in advance.

Other than the fact that he is a male who needs a visa, we have absolutely no information about him. How could anyone here possibly give you a substantive answer??

July 28, 2017 (Day 14) - Biometrics letter received in the mail, appointment for 08/08/17

Your nephew applies for a tourist visa on his own, you don't apply for him or sponsor him at all.  He needs to show strong ties to his home country, fill out the form, pay the fee, and apply at the US embassy that has jurisdiction over his place of residence, just like your mother did.
