We do have a snowflake culture in the USA.  

 

I will testify and you can quote me I have been around long enough, this is common in the USA and the age of the snowflake is about age 30 and below.

I agree but I think it's not unique to the US...it's a global issue.

What I have noticed about the 30 and under generation is they are really driven or really lazy snowflakes. There is no in between.

I don't think lame attitudes, poor coping skills, and freaking out for no reason is an exclusive thing to those under 30. Just coming from my observation.

I was told this by my local Police Department. 

 

I took a expensive piece of equipment to my local UPS store and paid them to box it and put shipping peanuts in it and I had a shipping label from the company in California I was going to ship it to for repairs via USPS, the local post office picks up packages there.

 

Long story short I was trying to track it one morning and I called the local UPS store and ask a clerk if the knew if my package was sent, and then couple hours later the local police call me on my phone.  I said what is the issue, I was told the girl was scared and felt threatened.  I thought it was a joke at first and asked for his badge # and name which he gave me.

 

Couple days later I call the local police and ask for a captain, I was finding out what was said, He was under the impression I went into the store and started acting crazy, I said I only called on the phone, I never used a cuss word, I may have been a little loud which is my normal tone.  I did call her a snowflake which I admitted, in which he giggled a tad bit.

 

He said don't worry about it, the kids now of day under age 30 are real tender and get their feeling hurt real easy.  So I can only go by a person whom deals with the general public.

Well.....  in my experience there's plenty of flakery to be found on a daily basis, and not always with the youngins. We could all try to be more civil towards one another, couldn't we?
