Edit. I keep trying to get my wife to make some Venison Lumpia because I literally have a refrigerator full of it. She just flat out refuses to.

I said that more for NBs benefit than anything else.  I knew he wouldn't be able to resist trying to scare me, lol.

 

My wife eats like yours.  Much more than me most meals.  Yet the only time she breaks 100 lbs is when I have my foot on the scale (I did that recently at her Dr. appointment,  cracked the nurse up once they figured out how she could be over 130 lbs).

 

Her deal is she goes from hungry to HANGRY real quick.  I've learned it's best to just find a place to eat quickly when we're driving and she mentions food.  Much safer for me.

There's an idea for what to do with our freezer full of venison. My wife likes venison now that I got her to try it. Haven't tried to get her to make lumpia with it though.

Instagram is laughable junk for people that want attention 24/7. There's a funny little anime show on Netflix called Aggretsuko. They did a parody episode about getting sucked into instagram. 

i can say this is similar to my own observation, those who are far to the end of the spectrum (left and right) have the tendency to be incorrigible. kept living in their own bubble. i tried to correct some of them if i see what they had been sharing are incorrect/fake but often met with "Hey this is my wall, how dare you try to say something i dislike!"

FB is a tool, just like forums like this one. As long as you know how to navigate your way, use it to your advantage correctly and morally, it should be okay. just distance yourself with those who held extreme views on anything.

The bible said in the end times, there would be minions who would sow doubt and discord, confusion.  They would strive to make us accept the evil around us as normal.  I'm seeing it before my own two eyes.

Well that's the rub isn't it. Here is an example of flakery that I see on facebook, by persons that are well beyond the age of 30.

 

a) Person posts daily nonsense on their page. Wants everyone to validate that nonsense or else. No questions, no corrections, not even a polite counterviewpoint said respectfully.

 

b) If correction or counterviewpoint is given you are accused of not being their friend. This is followed by aggressive all caps shouting on your page to keep your mouth shut. For days after they bemoan how no one understands them and everyone is horrible. So you go silent, all the while never posting your own viewpoints on your own page because you know that 1) they won't like anything you have to say 2) they will start screaming at you (they will *never* offer polite counterviewpoints at all) all the while insisting that no one can comment anything with a counterview on their own page because something something they own their page and the positivity on it?

 

c) Then they notice no one is responding to their crazy posts anymore (who would when you just get screamed at?). They get into a funk where they want to delete their account (not enough to actually do it though), and that nobody likes them. They insist that they can say whatever they want on their page (which is true) and that nobody should be censored (nobody censored them but they did basically censor others). They complain about snowflakery and censorship (we inwardly laugh at the irony). Rinse and repeat.

Hard to tell anymore, tbh.  The verses and chapters I memorized 35 years ago are very different today.  Man has been changing the words, and therefore the meanings, for centuries now.
