Hi Folks,

 

We're finished..i filed my husband's 130 Jan 11 2019, we're finished in July. We got Potomac and got approval in April 12, NVc recieved April 22, and we were finished with NVC in 3 weeks. We got an appointment in May and thats all.

CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZED USER.

 

Hello everyone. I just wanted to say for those that are trying to establish bonafide marriage or to to boost your bonafide documents already, I was able to add my wife as an authorized user on my credit card. today her credit card arrived in the mail and i will be mailing it to her. Now moving forward my monthly credit card statements will show both of our names on it. Even though we do  not have a joint bank account i think this helps as well. Be advised my wife does have an ITIN number from the IRS because we filed a joint tax return this year. In order to add your wife or husband they need to have atleast a Social Security Number or an ITIN number. I just wanted to share.

Is anyone else is this same situation? I filed the I-130 in January, got USCIS approval July 9th, and my case has still not been received by NVC. It has been over 8 weeks and NVC Research only says that my case (receipt number starting with IOE) is part of a pilot electronic process and to continue to wait. Does anyone have any experience being a part of this pilot process? How long did it take NVC to receive?

It is my understanding that you can't request outside processing until ur reciept date is current.

You are right.. Let me tell you my thing. On 25th August it's gonna be 6 months of filing at Texas. But still I tried to submitt before 2 days. I try to submit on 21 st August. But they said it's in normal processing time. So they didn't accept my request. But when I tried on 26th August, they accepted my request and gave me mail that they will process my request. So you too should even try submitting request. Though it's under normal processing time. But we should try. You too can try submitting.

Ya i called them, and she said i am out of normal processing times and someone will contact me in 30 days...fingers crossed. i think its because im at california service center
