Since I got my case # today, I should have a good chance to be on the next Tuesday/Wednesday shipment right?

I hope you are right.  We received our case # on February 1st and it didn’t make it out on the February 5th embassy shipment.  So, we are hoping for the 19th.

Same here. We also received our case # on the 1st, and I was really hoping to get into the shipment sent on the 5th. :(  Now just hoping to make the next one. 👏

My fiance (the beneficiary) has moved since we filed the I-129F,.Obviously she will put her up to date address on the DS-160. But once the embassy receives our case, do I need to call them and tell them to update the address? Or do I not need to do anything in regards to her new address?

@Greenbaum i had a question for you 🙏🏼 My fiancé has two last names, one from his father, then the one from his mother. On his I-129f, i put his first last name, then under the section that says “other names used”, i put his second last name. When he got his passport, it has both last names however on the NOA1 and NOA2 it just has the first last name. I didn’t think it was a big deal until his mom told me it needs to be fixed. I called USCIS and they said my petition is gone already so nothing they can do. I called NVC and they don’t have my petition yet. They said i could write a letter requesting a correction but they said my case could be gone already by the time they get the letter. They said it may not matter to the embassy at all as long as one last name is on there... do you have any thoughts or advice?

By putting his second last name on a different line they treated that as his "nickname" not is birthright name. Correct it at the embassy where you will have copies of his passport and birth certificate and you can explain what happened. You need it change at the embassy anyways because they will print the visa and it has to match the name in the passport. This is nothing to be concerned over. Your not the first nor will you be the last to make a mistake like this.
