hope so but I already had interview for i485 nd was hoping to get i751 approval without interview but look like thats not the case which is fine with me.

My i485 was approved without interview so I was expecting to go for the i751 anyway.

What kind of interviews are they setting up for the n400 and i751 together? I dont really get it

For the i751 - you and your spouse attend.  It seems it’s more or less a formality and is a joint interview, unless they suspect fraud, in which case the spouses are separated.

For the n400, as noted above they have you do the English reading/writing/speaking test and the civics (history/government) test.

I tried both. The "old site" shows that number isn't even valid.

On the "new site" it shows that it was received only. No update from then on. Even though hubby had his biometrics back in Feb 2019 and also already has his extension letter.

Quick question out of topic.... I did my research on google but couldn't find an answer. . How many days before my passport stamp expires should I renew it?

I will travel for vacation on july and it will expire while I'm on vacation out of the country. And obviously I wont have my new green card by then.

Thanks

My passport expires in 5 years.

I'm talking about the passport stamp they give you so you can travel with the expired green card while your case is still pending.

I believe they won’t let you schedule an appointment unless your letter will be invalid in 30 days or less.

You can always call and explain the situation, and hope they can schedule you so that there is plenty of time.

This is the annoying thing with this process taking so long, and the abuse of the infopass system previously which now requires a phonecall which is inconvenient because their phone agents are unhelpful.

I got my approval today. I am WAC 199010xxxx, I subscribed again to the uscis program at about 11 am, and around 3:30 pm, I got the notification that I have been approved and my card was being produce. I had a subscription before, but about a month ago, I did not have access, and so, I subscribed again. After a few hours, I got my notification. I don't know if this is luck or what, but I am really happy.

good luck to everyone.

Look like Filling N400 online trigger my I751 paperwork and finally it change from fingerprint being taken to transfer notice and don't know whether it is good thing or not but atleast some progress to my case? Conincidently this happened just an hour before my biometric appointment for N400. I am yet to know where did they transfer my case?Probably to my local office Albany, NY?? Do you guys have any clues what does that transfer of case mean?

This is what my USCIS case status says

On February 3, 2020, we transferred your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number EAC199004xxxx, to another office for processing and sent you a transfer notice. The notice explains why we transferred your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by March 4, 2020, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I got the same Notification today? they transferred to new office... same reason as of Feb 14th..
You have any update?
