Unfortunately, the people at the local office are just as dumb and incompetent as the rest of USCIS we're used to dealing with. The person I met with barely knew what she was talking about and couldn't even print out a basic exit form correctly. No one contacts anyone else and they just read the status of the case like a broken record.

Did you try congressional requests too?

Yes, but still nothing :( security check... Which takes so much time.. May be they took offense on us because we called them too often:)))))

I told you it would be done in less than 60 days. I guess USCIS wants to get their act together....hang in there everyone!!

Doesn't it make you wonder what the #$&&_@'n hold up was to begin with?

 

Not a newbie but lost my old info years ago) I have been through this process before --all the way through naturalization-- This site has always been a great help to me.

295 days and two inquiries later I'm still waiting.


4 years, 11 months, 2 weeks and 3 days

Citizenship Complete!
