Also, does anybody know how long do we have, after our packet arrives at the embassy, to schedule our interview? Let’s say I call nvc Dec 7 and get my case number and it gets sent to the embassy here in the next shipment, assuming it would be ready for interview by january or maybe the first week of January considering holidays, would I be able to schedule an inteerview in February? This gives me time to prepare my documents and attend medical and make sure I have everything ready plus my fiance wants to be here with me during my interview and hopefully, if everything works out perfectly (we’re actually not counting on it lol), go to America with him .

Hey, I have a question regarding the I134. The part with dependent information question 22, my fiancé filed an affidavit of support for his ex wife, but she is not his dependent anymore does he need to put her name on it? We dont want it to look like he has more dependents than he actually has. Thx

Hey guys, omg can’t believe this, we finally got our NVC NO, although unfortunately they have the wrong embassy in there. They’ve adviced me to change the info via website but they don’t guarantee if they will have time to check this request. Any suggestions @Greenbaum

So rang the NVC since my file wasn’t uploading, the other officer mentioned that with K1 visa’s unfortunately the information cannot be changed however I will have to wait for them to ship my case to the other embassy and then ask my embassy to request the file to be sent locally.

To have your immigrant/fiancée visa file transferred from one Embassy to another U.S. Embassy/Consulate, please contact the appropriate U.S. Embassy/Consulate directly in the country where you wish to apply and follow their instructions for case transfer. Please click here for the full list of all U.S. Embassies and Consulates overseas. 
  
The old Embassy will need to receive a formal file transfer request from that U.S. Embassy/Consulate in the country where you wish to apply. Upon receipt of this request, they will immediately forward the file for the New Embassy to process. 
  
Once you contact your New Embassy you then can discuss the transfer of your fee. Be sure to have your payment receipt available. Since you haven't paid a fee just ignore that part.

Congrats! How did you find out about the wrong consulate? I've read that the first 3 letters is the consulate acronym, mine says "CDJ" I'm assuming that's "Ciudad Juarez"...
