April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)

May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

Got the INFO PASS stamp on the 15th in Pittsburgh,  After a 5 hour drive home to West Virginia we got a text and email saying 10 year card was approved.   On Friday got text and email with tracking numbers saying card was picked up by Post Office/  Tracking says card will be delivered on Monday

it is one page but there is print on the back so that is page 2

Just saw the email that my daughters and I each have an "Official Envelope" coming in the mail today as well :D 

Met in the SCA - DRACO INVICTUS!  08-14-2014 Married in Ann Arbor, MI

USCIS.... DONE  in 150 day from NOA1 to NOA2 (TSC)

NVC... DONE  in 116 days from NOA2 to final CC

Final Steps... DONE in 350 days from NOA1 to POE
POE 08-11-2015 in Detroit, MI 

 

 

 

 

Removal of Conditions

07-11-2017 NOA1 date (rec'd on 14th)

08-03-2017 Daughter and I completed biometrics; May 2018 - I had to redo my biometrics (reason unknown)

WAC17283xxxxx....and we wait...400 days

07-13-2018 I-551 extension stamp (12 mths) obtained at USCIS office in Detroit

09-20-2018 Transferred to TSC

10-15-2018 Text notification "New Card Being Produced"   YAY!!

My wife is receiving the same letter today.  The tracking Numbers says w will receive it no later than Monday Night so It could arrive today or it could be the United States Government sending a letter telling my wife to expect her green card with in a few days.  We will know soon enough

Wife is also going to get mail today from USCIS.  We have the notification system from US Post Office.

It is a 2 page letter and I can see the arm of Statue of Liberty..

OK, so someone said the notification of approval of 10 year green card is printed front and back, so 2 page.

But, wife previously got the Unoffical 18 month extension letter.

So could this also just be the Official 18 month extension letter.

Was it 1 page or 2 pages, for those of you who got an Official 18 month extension letter.

Or did anyone actually ever get the Official 18 month letter?

 

Also, she has not received any text or email message regarding this; and the two official websites still only showing about the transfer to local office.

 

But I know from postings of others here that the sequence is often messed up with even Green Card being received and later notifications that the case was still being reviewed, etc.

December 4, 2018, ordered your new card for Receipt # EAC17297003XX, and will mail to the address you gave.

491 days from NOA issued by VSC until Petition approved.

December 7, 2018 USCIS sent notice:  Card mailed.

December 12, 2018 Ten year Green Card received from Lees Summit, MO

499 days from NOA issued by VSC until Green Card received.

December 6, 2018 submitted N-400 application on-line.  Estimated Completion Time: 8 months or August 2019.

December 8, 2018 received notice on USCIS that Biometrics scheduled . . . but the actual date was not yet shown.

December 11, 2018 saw in 'Documents' section of USCIS that Bio scheduled for 24 December 2018.

December 21, 2018 saw on USCIS website that they will be closed 24 December 2018 as extra holiday.

January 9, 2019 went for re-scheduled BIO appointment.  33 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

February 19, 2019 received letter in US mail that Citizenship interview scheduled for 26 March 2019. 74 days after submission on-line.

March 26, 2019 Citizenship interview scheduled for.  109 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

March 26, 2019 Passed Citizenship interview.

April 12, 2019  Received notice that Oath Ceremony had been scheduled for 24 April 2019.  17 days after interview.

April 24, 2019  Oath Ceremony completed.  29 days after interview.     139 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

April 25, 2019  USA Passport Application submitted.

Yes it does rather seem I may have wasted a trip to Pittsburgh but being a US Government employee I need to stay on the right side of law.  Plus my wife's job is regulated by the State of West Virginia and with out proof of legal entry and work authorization they would not have been able to schedule her to work after Tuesday so its all good for me .  Plus she got to spend her birthday in a really nice hotel and we had a good time.  But your correct it appears to be a wasted effort.  Still I now know how the system works if I have to go there again for any reason.

 

 

Next I need to renew my US Passport and in a few years start to get my green card for the Republic of the Philippines so that we can go back and forth 6 months here and 6 months there
