We have the same timeline and California center with WAC.

Did you have to call USCIS customer service or filed a non delivery request online?

I think so, too. I did my online form a few days ago as well. Just communicating what an actual officer said to me yesterday, and he recommended calling in. Good luck!

I would love to get passport stamped. They don’t have any available appointments. Have been trying online for past cauple days.

Just remember it may not always get delivered on the same day you get the informed delivery email.

Sorry if that was not clear. NOA1 is important because it extends the green card for 18 months, however, you can also go to an InfoPass appointment and get the I-551 stamp which does the same thing as the NOA1.

 

The person that I was responding to initially was asking if the NOA1 form is required to attend a biometrics appointment, which it is not. The biometrics appointment confirmation letter, plus valid state ID/passport and the green card, is all that is required for the biometrics appointment.

Congrats!  We have the same timeline and service center.  When did you call USCIS to inquire about non-delivery of NOA?

I have placed an online inquiry on 12/08 and called them just minutes ago and was given basic answers (stuff that I can also see on my USCIS account lol).  I asked if I can have my passport stamped in another office closest to me as Detroit field office does not accept infopass, was told to wait until I receive the NOA within 30 days then I can give them a call again.  UGH!

06/20/2016 - Package received

06/30/2016 - (4) Text notifications received; online status available

07/03/2016 - (4) NOA1s received w/ notice date of 06/29/16

07/18/2016 - Done with biometrics in 15-20mins.

08/03/2016 - Received text message that I-485 online status changed (RFIE received)

I spoke with them on 11/30. They told me they sent my letter on 11/2 and don't send duplicates. Obviously they didn't send it out until now. 

Not sure if everybody saw but the notices are actually being mailed from VERMONT!!!

Look closely at the top right corner where is shows the postage you can see the ORIGIN ZIP CODE: 05495

So almost 2 weeks after calling.  Smh

How weird is that?!  Wow and to think some of those in VSC received their biometric appointment notice before their NOAs...

Filed late October, check was cashed November 1st, still nothing. I put in a service request on December 3rd, when it was over 30 days of not receiving the NOA. I made an inforpass appointment for Friday so I can get my passport stamped; my GC expired November 4th.

It's hard to get infopass appointment everywhere, but all you need doing is to widen your search, like i did i got appointment in another city about 208miles to my residence. There was no choice, the closest to me doesn't have availability, my GC expires in few weeks, so i was happy to take the long drive.
