You're at 125 days now and normal processing time is 200 days. So you have a way to go unless for some unknown reason you get an approval earlier.

Oh trust me, I already know exactly how many days I have been waiting. Where did you get the 200 day estimation?

It's not an estimate of how long your case will take, it's of how long it will be until your case is officially "outside normal processing times". The date range at the end of your timeline is probably the best estimate you'll get (currently showing next month for you), but it's based on VJ users' self-reported data, and there's a lot of case to case variation.

If you go to https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ and select I-129F and the California Service Center, the 'receipt date for case inquiry' is the cutoff for that. You can see that despite most of the current activity here being in September and October filers, that's in mid-July right now.

Hi guys, I am actually worried right now. I can't fully financially support my fiance so I asked my Brother-In-Law to do a joint sponsor with me. I was wondering if I should've turn in the "Affidavit of Support" together with the I-129F packet? Or do they just need it during the interview? Thanks soo much!

I dont recally fiance filling out any numerical information, I do remember looking up how the calculations are to be done, only thing on that initial packet was employment history. So, the embassy as with the the B1 tourist visa he would have to show proof of how he will financial support if I am not mistaken.

I was just worried that they will return my application for insufficient income. I am trying not to prolong the process. I do have the document to support him just wanted to know when they will need it.

I believe it is during the interview that you(beneficiary) need to present financial support. I myself have not got to that stage yet but i am pretty sure it is later on. I filed without financial information.

Congratulations!!!!

Did you get it via mail? Did they update your status on one (of both) of the web pages/sites?

Thanks! Yes I received it in the mail yesterday. I haven’t checked on either site. The notice said the NVC will notify me by mail when they’ve sent it to the embassy.

I’m pretty sure you will need it for her I-485 adjustment of status that you will file after you’re married. It’s part of the I-485 application form not the K1.
