"A survey commissioned by the Republican National Committee has led the party to a glum conclusion regarding President Donald Trump’s signature legislative achievement: Voters overwhelmingly believe his tax overhaul helps the wealthy instead of average Americans.

By a 2-to-1 margin — 61 percent to 30 percent — respondents said the law benefits “large corporations and rich Americans” over “middle class families,” according to the survey, which was completed on Sept. 2 by the GOP firm Public Opinion Strategies and obtained by Bloomberg News."

Well Tax revenues are at their highest level ever.  the middle class got the highest % of tax cuts. People have more money, corporations are investing again, economy is booming..

Tell me again what is so bad about the tax cuts.

The good thing about this poll is that I don't even have to argue.. Republican are the ones overwhelming trashing their own party's tax cuts.

That's enough evidence within itself.

The poll is evidence of nothing other that a certain amount of people polled hold a certain opinion. The poll in no way proves who benefits from the tax cuts. It only proves what the people polled BELIEVE about the tax cuts.

The only evidence this provides is that some people, are misinformed.

I better let my accountant know he is wrong about the additional tax credits he says I will get this year because a poll says otherwise.

Your accountant is an IDIOT!!  Fire him/her ASAP!  You will lose money, let me tell you!  Make America Poor Again!  Tax break my cajones, 50% of my taxes are going to the pockets of the rich!  And 100% of the taxes of anyone who votes democrat will be used to pay for maintenance fees on Trump Towers!

So those polled don’t understand that corporations are a collection of people (shareholders, workers and customers)?

We have a fiat currency system, inflationary monetary policies and an ever expanding population. Record tax revenues should be viewed in context.

My biggest problem with the tax cuts is not that they passed the bill, but that they passed another temporary fix to a stupid system that needs a lot more than a band aid. Hopefully they use the time between now and 2025 to come up with something serious to overhaul the entire tax code.
