Sounds like they won't be banned for using pot, normally that's a 1 year ban, but rather for lying to CBP about using pot and being caught in the lie.

Well find some CBP, start lying to them and see?  I haven't a clue personally.  But I also try not to think about how to get away with things and just not do the wrong thing to begin with.  Maybe it's just me.

So this article just states what people already know: you can't come to the US if you've been smoking weed. What this article should be about is the fact that nothing will change once it becomes legal in Canada.

Marijuana has been easily available in Canada for years.  Used to play an online game with a Canadian who would take a break during game play to go smoke.  Over the months, I learned his smoke breaks involved walking around the corner to a 7-11 type store and buying his weed.

I went to high school with people who smoked pot daily and I graduated in 1999.
