I do not want to miss my appointment and get into trouble. Thats why im worried. Cant speak for other people but im sure others are in the same situation.

That's going to be our problem too.  Have 4 international trips planned for 2019 with airline tickets already purchased.  It's going to be a pain but just hoping everything happens while we are in the US.  Life does not stop!

Exactly. USCIS says jump and we are expected to ask how high... Cant have our lives revolve around USCIS even though they expect us to.

On Thursday I will have 30 days, and obviously no sign of the letter.

Also doesnt the biometrics letter have a different case number that actually works on the other USCIS website? How do i figure out the number if i dont get that letter?

i understand why you worry about biometrics but not all of us will need to get it done. I wouldn’t stress about it unless you’re planning to go somewhere for an extended period of time and you might miss it. But Nebraska service center hasn’t sent any unless the update in here hasn’t been done.

Called USCIS. One hour on hold to find out absolutely nothing...

 

I said my receipt number doesnt work and the biometrics letter should provide a case number that works on website. But because i havent received that letter yet I asked if she had that number available for me. She said its not in the system yet, not generated by USCIS. So without the biometrics letter i cant check my case status basically. And all i can do is wait...

Lol people. Relax. Live your lives. We have a 18 months extensions letter. What is there to stress over? I haven't even given it a second thought. We know they are backed up. Chill and go on with your normal life and work routine;)

It is good to relax and continue with our normal lives.  But. DO what u ought  to do. In my own case, I didn't  know they've  sent me biometric  letter for the first time after I received my extension.  I was waiting  for  biometric  until  I called them and they said they have sent me letter, that I refused to show up.  I have to rescheduled  my biometric appointment and got the second  letter in my mail box. So, do not relax too much.  They have nothing to lose but you.

Received my new California drivers license/Real ID. Not tied to my legal presence. Woohoo! No DMV trip until 2023.

 

Still no biometrics appointment letter. Not worried - my fingerprints are the same as they were 2 years ago (and when I enrolled in Global Entry). Do CSC filers even get these letters? O.o

 

Only nine months left on the N-400 filing clock.

I got this email today from USCIS for an inquiry about my case I did on October 10 (lol, I know it's been 60 days since but anyway):

 

"Type of service requested:
 -- Non-Delivery of Other Notice


The status of this service request is:

We have received your service request and researched the status of your application. A request has been made to schedule a biometrics appointment. You will receive an appointment notice as soon as there is an available date and time at your local APPLICATION SUPPORT CENTER (ASC) office. Due to backlogs at some sites it may take more than 60 days for this appointment to be scheduled.  "
