Haha, I had the same thought, 256 days, omg 🙈🙈

Wow.... you really have to watch what you type here. I in NO way would ever be so crass. Have you ever heard the expression "having any luck with that?" Meaning, are you getting it done, etc. etc.......

🤨

And it IS lucky if someone can get notified by email from NVC. I have to wake up at 5am to call their @$$e$ and that just SUCKS!

I wish I could get on the email train and I'm not sorry about that! He||, sign me up!

I will have to watch my words for those who waited 2 more months than I did..... really?

come on

I followed Greenb. instructions as well and emailed the correct department (per said instructions <) they wrote me back saying they cannot update anything until they receive my petition. I'm not sure why some people are having luck and some people arent. All in due time, though :)

Our NOA2 came in today but dated the 18th. The sites haven't been updated yet but will patiently wait for NVC. Anyone going to the consulate in Poland?

Nope but I have some info for you.

Please let's end the rediculous "luck" jargon. I in no way meant others are lucky and I am not.

I am actually a bit disappointed any of you would insinuate such nonsense.

Words can be read in a manner differently than truly intended. Me saying "luck" was just a way if saying "success". Perhaps Washingtonians use the word this way and others don't ?

Anyhow ....

Have a good weekend and I hope you all get POE soon.

Cleaning customs in Dublin was great! I flew Aer Lingus (LHR-DBL then Bradley)

let me know what the flight was like into New York, (white plains?) because as great as doing customs in Dublin was, the plane was old, the food was awful as was the  service. Was like flying a budget airline. Would like it if your experience was better! Hope you have an amazing trip.

My flight was the same as yours, it was a Norweigan flight to Stewart airport (Hudson Valley NY) and I booked it because it was super cheap (like £190 return before i added extra baggage on) but yeah it was a budget flight, small older plane, no food provided and no entertainment on board - I've flown with them a couple of times via Dublin before to take advantage of the dirt cheap prices so luckily I knew what I was in for but it is a shock the first time you fly long haul if you've been with Virgin and expect the movies, food etc 😂

Thank you! 😊 When I arrived I'd been awake for 20 hours cos i didn't manage to sleep a wink on the flight so i got here, ate a burrito and passed out!!

NOA1: February 13th

NOA2: September 4th

NVC case # assigned: September 21st

Hey All,

I was hoping some folks might be able to help with a couple of questions around estimated timelines.

I received NOA 2 on 9/4

NVC received application on 9/20 (still waiting for them to create a Case Number)

How long does it take for NVC to issue case number? (I believe 2-3 days but wanted to confirm)

From the time NVC receives your case how long does it take to send to the embassy?

When NVC sends to the embassy how long does it take for them to receive it? (once again believe i read previously its 3-5 business days as they send the case details via Fedex but wanted to confirm if anyone else knows for sure)

Just trying to gauge the overall time especially since its getting closer to the finish line :)

We got out NO2 on 9/4 as well. When I called 9/19 they didn't have anything. Got an email friday 9/21 with our LDN number assignment so you can probably call tomorrow and get your number!

I received an email that my NOA2 has been approved on September 14 but I have not received the hard copy yet by mail.  How long does it usually take to get the hard copy?

What is the LDN number??  The number for the embassy??   About a week to receive the noa2 for me by mail and it took 2 weeks for nvc to receive my case.  Still waiting on my case number from nvc.

LDN is the designation for the embassy is London. Each case number starts with three letters, like your USCIS case number, which tell where your case is being handled.

We got approved on 17th and received the hard copy on 20th but that is totally because  my fiancé lives in California (and it was mailed from California), I would give it some time. I bet it just takes longer for the mail to get all the way to Arkansas 😉
