We recieved notice dated April 10, after submitting service request on May 16, I asked for Tier 2 officer today, the mean Tier 1 told me that I will get a call back and shut the phone on me. To my surprise I recieved a call back after around 3 hours, the T2 told me that there is still no biometrics scheduled and I will have to wait to hear from NBC, week 8 has begun. :(

Hey guys! Hope you're all doing well. Wonderful to hear that some of you are already getting your green cards!

I'm good, I've been keeping busy with work and will travel back to Sweden this summer which I look forward to. The anniversary of my AOS application is coming up in a few days - I'm yet to hear anything about an interview. I have noticed that they seem to be poking in my case more often these days, in the first 7-8 months I barely got any notifications and now I get the "we are still reviewing your case" weekly if not more often. But I of course have no clue if it actually means anything.

Same. Are you a manhattan filer?

I’m happy for all these Queens filers getting their interviews, but it’s really unfair that the boroughs are treated SO unevenly.

Seems like Manhattan is practically a year slower and Brooklyn even worse!!

Brooklyn filer. I'm just happy if I hear something within the next 6 months... but there's a 50% chance I won't. Chances could be better.

Hello guys. Our timeline so far is:

Just checked informed delivery. Aos sent 5/20/19 by regular mail. Package delivered 5/23/19. Text confirmations 5/30/19 at 12:30am. Got 3 envelopes on 6/3/19.

Question. We put our physical address which is in Ridgewood, Queens. But we Put our mailing address as my parents address in Philadelphia. (Thought it would be a more stable address). The notices went to Philadelphia. Does that mean we will be processed in philly ? Or will it be queens since it’s our physical location.

Thanks for the feedback. Queens seems like it’s doing good with processing times.  Fingers crossed.

I’m in the same boat but I watch an immigration show on YouTube every day where a lawyer responds to questions and he says that now they’re processing in a first in first out basis because due to the backlogs people were hitting the 2 year marriage mark and they were being forced to issue permanent GCs instead of conditional GCs, which means loss of profits et al. However that means that people that just filed are getting the whole process done right away. The good thing is that we will probably get our permanent GCs and kiss USCIS good bye for the next three years IF we decide to file for citizenship 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Thinking about this whole process being over for good tears my eyes really 🤣 Good luck and have a safe and fun trip home @LizM ♥️

Hi All,

I am in queens and still waiting for an interview to be scheduled. I filed AOS early September 2018 under F2B category (unmarried child over 21) after my priority date became current (PD May 2012). Everything was going fast in the beginning, I did the biometrics and then my status changed from "ready to schedule an interview" to "interview cancelled" in late October 2018. When I called to inquire about it, I was told there is a backlog and I just have to wait. It's been 8 months now since I filed and I haven't heard anything. Wondering if there are other folks that had the same status change. I am also wondering if the F2B category gets processed on a different timeline than other categories.

Thanks in advance for your input!

Anyone know if one can continue to work with an expired EAD if a replacement is pending? EAD expires within the next few months, but no replacement yet. Wonder what happens if there’s a long term delay.
