Hello everyone i was wondering, have anyone experience their payment being taken before you received your first NOA? My payment was received but I didn't get my first NOA yet! Is this normal?

Did you send checks to them? If you did, does it say something like Business to Business ACH USCIS Chicago Payment?

Today, Aug 7, I received an email in response to a message I sent to ask NVC. The email states that NVC is finished processing my application and is awaiting the scheduling of an interview (in Taipei.)

I have not yet received a formal NOA.

I got this in an email responding to a question I submitted to 'asknvc:'

The NVC completed its processing of LEE, FENG YIN's visa petition.

While it was tedious filling out the on-line forms, and there were a three requests for additional documents, the process went much better than I ever expected it would.

My AOS has been marked 'approved' and we are ready to have the interview scheduled. I wonder how long that will take!

Good morning all!! I received my text message that my case was received (but the payment was taken from my credit before I received the text, so I already knew the case was received lol). I also received an email stating the case was accepted and will be submitted to the Potomac services center. I’m a little confused and I hope you all can help me!! Is the email my 2nd NOA? Or is it the same as the text message, that lets me know it was received? I’m taking every word literal and that could be a good thing or a bad thing!

Me and my wife have been away for a few days & my official NOAs arrived and also my biometrics appointment notice arrived while we were away. The biometrics appointment is scheduled for next week, the 14th of August (lucky, because I'm away on business from the 15th!)

Great to see such quick progress for some people here!

Hopefully you hear soon. After reading other people’s posts I really wasn’t expecting to hear anything so soon.

I never go any email/text from USCIS - they don't seem to communicate very well.

NVC was rather more forthcoming (except during the week their web system was down.)
