Any Indonesia filers in here?

My fiancée was told from a friend who went through this process a few years ago that the I-134 needed to have an ORIGINAL signature to be accepted at the interview (not a copy or scan). I am trying to check the validity of that.

Hey there, indonesia filer here! Yes I heard of that. I thought it was a requirement for all embassies, not just in Indonesia? I have just mailed my signed I-134 to my fiance in indonesia 2 days ago via USPS.

They stopped requiring a original signature. They will except a scanned signature.

Is your fiancée in Jakarta? I am not confident in the mail system there, so I was just ensuring that it was really needed. What was your NOA2 date?

Never heard of a guide for NVC. Your case gets passed along from USCIS to NVC. Just all there is. Do you have a specific question?

that's fine. I just want to be safe, just in case. By the way, is there such thing as "documents dated too early". I started preparing documents before my NOA2.
My NOA2 date is July 10

My employment verification was dated May 24

My bank statement was dated July 10

I-134 was signed and dated July 14

I hope that by the interview day, all these documents would NOT be considered "outdated". I do know that we are both committed to getting the earliest interview date and POE (my fiance is currently not working in indonesia so he's flexible with his schedule). We have everything ready basically except DS-160, which I think we should only fill out closer to the interview date?

Not sure if this is the correct forum to ask this question.  Our NOA2 was approved today, and I am not sure what to do next.  Can someone suggest a good thread to read about the next step after NOA2 approval?  Thanks in advance.

Thank you so much, everyone!

Thanks!

You'll be asking some additional questions sometime down the road and many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question(s).

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

It depends on the Embassy. I would say that your current list of documents seems to be find with the exception of the employment letter which could be a little closer to the date of the interview. Just my opinion and may not be an Embassy requirement.
