Nice try but last time I checked guns are banned in most schools. If anything this shows how well gun free zones work.

It's so sad that school districts think that gun free zones protect our children.....It's  sad that school districts don't provide adequate armed protection for our children.

Actually I would agree with that.

 

A gun free zone with no check point between it and gun allowable zones will always be ineffective. You can't rely on some invisible barrier.

 

That being said, surely there were some well armed bystanders just outside of school? It is Texas after all. We'll see if some local heroes sprang to action before the cops arrived.

 

It happened early in the morning. Surely some parents perhaps in their cars were around with firearms. Did they spring into action?

Well as is typical, he sounds like a real whack-a-doo. Social media profile is full of nonsense, rage, guns and anger. One news organization keeps stating they can't see anything that would provide clues to his mindset.... well I certainly see some Nazi and Soviet paraphernalia on images floating around.

He was 17 I think so another question will be where did he get the gun(s).
