Hi friends! I recently joined this wonderful community and has been silently stalking for a while. woops
We didn't even know that we already got our NOA 2 in the mail until a few days ago. Time flies when you are very distracted.

It was a pretty thick application. I definitely front loaded, with tons of evidence. Not sure if it helped. Well it must’ve i got approved in 167 days.

I have a son with my fiancee, he was born december 2017.  On march 2018 I went to the embassy and went through a similar process so I can obtain us citizen for my son.   We went and were told there are 2 interviews and the lady attending us told us she was waving the 2nd interview because she believed us.  I had to prove it was my son, had photos about our relationship,  photos throughout her pregnancy.

 

So now all this was added to her k1 application and I'm assuming it helped.

So I guess that theory of USCIS setting aside thick front loaded applications is untrue. Thats good cause mine  is very thick also. Thought maybe they were afraid to start on mine because it was fairly thick.


4 years, 11 months, 2 weeks and 3 days

Citizenship Complete!

Kinda gave them quite a bit also...wondering & waiting.

Ours was heavily frontloaded and we were approved with no RFEs in 175 days

i 485, 130, EAD and AP

04/09/2019    NOA1 received/check cashed i 485 and 130 (direct adjustment)

11/7/2019      Interview- Norfolk

11/10/2019    APPROVED (notification rec'd 11/10, approval dated 11/8)

DONE FOR TWO YEARS!!! ;)

 

Filed everything ourselves with no RFE's or delays.

 

CR1 for Child under 21 (20 at time of filing)- Filed by LPR Spouse for his son

4/4/20     Mailed packet

4/12/20   NOA1 rec'd

10/14/21 (havent heard anything... when do i start to get worried?)

9/15/22 APPROVED! Now to wait for NVC and interview....

 

ROC

10/14/21 Mailed to AZ PO Box. Let the waiting begin. Again.

10/16/21 Received at PO Box

10/19/21 Received Text NOA1

10/23/21 Received Mailed NOA1

Let me just say to the folks, like myself, who are waiting...we are next. We have seen from 1 - 30 in the first 8 days of May.  To keep things in perspective, I think we will hear soon.  @Sarge2155 just think!  @NicholeT, not sure anyone from Jamaica got approved this month as yet so...we're doing good still for 8 days.  Feeling good today!!

I remember someone joke about it while ago. But then @debbiedoo got approved while I know she had hers like frontloaded. It's just my never ending curiosity. Gotta ask some more approved fillers though.
