1. I've been dating my boyfriend since august 2017, we plan on applying for a k1 visa in january 2019, I wanted to know if there is less chance of us getting approved since we have only been dating for 1 year, we have met before, and will meet again before we apply

2. His income is 16-20k a year depending on what hours he gets but he does get at least 30 hours a week and does over time, is it better to have the green card income of 125 percent when applying for a k1 visa, or is the 100% ok?

3. Do they need screenshots of conversations online 1 screenshot per month since we first met?

4. He lives with his parents in a 5 bedroom house, and if we get approved we will be living with his parents for a bit untill we move out, is there any issues with living with parents that could get us denied?

I doubt any of this will be an issue, which Consulate are you going through.

If needed and it is a long time away, sounds like his Parents can Joint Sponsor.

USCIS California Service Center (CSC) in Laguna Niguel, CA.

And ive read alot of horror stories about joint sponsors and how they are likely to deny because of it?

It is a Consulate issue, there are no Consulates in the US.

Ahh so you will go through the London Consulate.

One of the advantages of going through London is that they also allow you to self sponsor. Pretty easy Consulate.

Yes, a long time away. The three years is if he has needed to file, many people have been at Uni whatever and have not been working that long.

It will be his income when you have the interview.

ok so, if his income is 16-20k which is the required amount anyway do we still need joint sponsers, or will we be ok with that? hes able to get the income up to around 23k a year if he switches jobs or does more hours in his current job, oh and is the income after tax is taken out or before tax is taken out thanks

There is also the I 864 when you adjust and they review the sum every year, I would expect $23k would be enough.
