You nailed it! All of us redneck, hillbilly, mullet wearing NRA gun nuts can't go one second without having a gun near by. Why heck, i sleep, shower, and eat breakfast with all of mine.

Shower?

Gotta protect yourself.

How do you protect the mechanism from water ingress?

I'm not a gun enthusiast but I'm a camera enthusiast.

I imagine you could keep it in a water sealed bag until you need to shoot. In the shower I doubt it would suddenly break as soon as it gets wet. Don't people shoot guns in the rain?

Isn't one of their basic tenets "The best way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun"?

I was under the understanding that one of the reasons they believe in having more members of the public armed is they believe the more guns that are out there in the hands of "good guys", the safer we all are.

The Secret Service may bring lots of guns to that convention, but based on that rationale wouldn't it still be safer to allow the public to bring in their guns? Surely that would mean even more good guys with guns, right?

good luck arguing that with the secret service.......

Is that what you do with your Camera?

If I'm going to be in a shower like environment then yes. Did that in Africa in February.

I don't feel the need to capture shots in the actual shower though.

Well the NRA typically believe that so they should be the ones arguing.

It violates the 2nd amendment. They should care.

I just assumed you were not alone.
