It is fake news since it implies the NRA is hypocritical for following the laws.  I guess that is what you get when as a news source you (NPR) is advocating a biased political position and listens to some child advocates that need a little more education.

No I would expect the NRA for advocate and argue for what they believe in. They do that already. 

 

If they think Pence would be safer with everyone armed, why don't they stand up for themselves and try to change it?

I am sure they may be saying that, but I believe the Secret Service will still win out, and most NRA members I know do not break the law.

The Secret Service is trampling over their second amendment rights. Where in the 2nd does it create an exception for the government to decide when you can't keep your guns?

 

What if this was just a government plot to get them all in a room and kill them? They need to be safe.

 

There should be outrage. The 2nd amendment is sacred.
