Hi. I want to say thank you to everyone on this forum, I got a lot of information and encouragement as I was preparing for my n-400.

Today I had my interview ,it was scheduled for 0945 but I was called in 0930.

The officer was very professional and equally friendly considering I was very very nervous.

I followed her to her office, once inside she made me swear to tell the truth,  I was standing with my right hand raised up.

She asked me to seat and explained to me what she needed from me, she asked for my GC and DL which I gave her, she verified my information then started with my n-400 application, we got to the yes and no section,  she asked me if I had ever been cited by police, I answered yes it was like 8 yrs ago and I paid the ticket. She changed the answer to question 23 to yes and told me there is no problem and continued. She asked if u had traveled within the 5yrs also the number of trips I had taken ,I said yes, she asked when and how many days I was gone. She never asked for my passport.

We moved to the civics test, I answered the first 6 questions correctly so she said well done. I read and wrote too.

She had me verify my names have been spelled correctly and also confirm my DOB.

After a few minutes she asked me to sign some documents then she congratulated me, gave me the paper with Approval checked and said to await the oath letter in the coming dates.

My two sense.

1. Have all ur documents in order. Also ensure you always make copies of any document you send.

2. Carry with you any evidence to support ur case regardless of if they ask for it or not.

I had my tax documents  my dmv driving records but she did not ask for them.

3. As nervous as you may be , be polite it goes a long way.

4. Each case is different try not to assume things, it just makes one more anxious.

5.Have faith,  I am prayerful,  when I was called in I just prayed and kept my faith.

6. It comes down to the officer you get.

Be blessed.

Congrats!!!  Question though, when you say "wrote", are you talking about writing in English and in Cursive form or printing?

We moved to the civics test, I answered the first 6 questions correctly so she said well done. I read and wrote too.
