You will go through a series of changes to your status. First is "at NVC", second "in Transit" third "at Embassy". It's all normal.

How long did it take from receiving your case # via phone to getting an email from NVC?

You'll get an email from NVC when your case has been assigned. If you wait for that letter, it usually doesn't come for 2-3 weeks after the case is assigned. If you need the case # earlier then you need to be on the phone to NVC.

4 days.

I wasn't even expecting the email. I just checked it one day and was like #######! I called my fiance all excited lol.

@Katelyngene @ToniAnn our case arrived at NVC today my fiance jst got off the phone...no case no yet.... Our NOA2 is also 4/27...

Your case is still at NVC and they haven't transferred it yet to your embassy...

how do I know where is my NVC case process right now at ? will they update it through email ? new website ? or should I keep bugging them by calling xD

 

I check my status on new website but haven't changed yet from NOA 2 and it's been 20 days since NOA2.

we called NVC on Friday, I bugged J to call them and they said they received it 10 May. does it mean it is in transit ?

Did you get the case no already? You can view its status on the website once you have the number.
