Bingo!!!  For some strange reason, some people fail to realize that the support must be based on income which will be received after entering the US.

the embassy can say your marriage is not bona fida if the officer determines you married for a green card

and as you yourself posted,

 The embassy said the console feel my wife cannot be responsible for me financially 

your wife has to show she has the 125% income level and can support you $20,575

if not, they are right to refuse your visa

What other red flags in your case???  Age difference?  Different religion???, etc?

she makes 31 K in Ghana???

has she filed US tax returns to support this claim ?    if not,  she needs to file them for the time working outside the US   / no tax will be due as the exemtion limit is well over $100,000

yeah,  mine says DCF too and i filed CR1 became IR1 by timewe got our visa    i never put dcf on my timeline

No one here is attacking or unbelieving of your relationship; but same time you have to understand the embassy makes the final call. That's their job, that's what they are trained to do again.

 

Again, there is something else most likely in your case that is unknown to us. Again the reasoning they gave might not be the actual reason, just a "smoke screen" again of sorts because of another reason.

What is the difference in your ages?  Who is older?  Are you both same religion? How many trips has she made to Ghana in total?
