Finally, an August 31 application!  I saw this one on the USCIS app yesterday.  I was really hoping there would be more than 1, though.  Hoping for more today.  Thank you @naes! - Jason

WTH?? a notarized statement of events leading up to the arrest?? that seems odd... did you provide them with court/police records or whatever official type documents when you submitted your packet?

Yep I sure did. I assune they asked for thr statement because there isnt an outcome from the court since it wad dismissed. And when I first submitted I didn't send a copy, I sent the original with the courts "raised" seal/stamp and signature. I believe it's just a formality.

I tried to attach a pic of the rfe request but it days it's too big.

Here is what it days verbatim:

Verbatim:

Petitioner's Criminal History

You indicated that you have been arrested or convicted. Therefore, please submit certified copy (ies) of court records identifying the charge and the final disposition for every conviction together with the police report for each arrest. The final disposition (s) should be obtained from the court where the hearing took place. You may submit original documents, or certified copies which must include relevant court seal stamp.

If the court disposition (s) is/are not available, you must obtain a certified letter from the court (s) stating that there is no record. You may submit original documents establishing the non-existence of court records, or certified copies which must include the relevant court seal stamps. In addition to evidence establishing the court documents are not available, submit a notarized statement detailing the events that lead to the arrest, the arresting agency, what charges were filed by the arresting agency, the final disposition (guilty, not guilty, etc.) of all of the charges with a list of the charges, the location of the court and any punishments.

Note: Police clearances will not be accepted in place of the court documents.

I am so sorry you're going through this as I am also. NVC told me the same thing. So I emailed Dominican republic and put in and expedite request to have my case transferredand also put in an expedite request for Haiti to request our case from Dominican republic and after a few days it says transfer in progress on the ceac website. I called Haiti and I was told it was transferred but then I called again to ask another question I was told its not there. Yes it is a big long progress

@karaandjackson
Hope this helps you?

My Fiance called, they told him they will put in a "service request" for our case and that we should hear back in max of 30 days.

Have people here found that service requests help get things moving? Hoping we will hear soon!!!!

Intrested to know this also.

I called this morning and put in an inquiry.

Now when i check our case at uscis website at the bottom it says...

As of March 15, 2018, your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number *********, is currently not assigned for processing.

It's really hard to say buddy-
I always go back to our June/July folks still waiting and many of them have put in massive requests, contacted congressmen, etc.
Am not sure what actually ends up "moving" your case.

But one can always call and see if their case has been assigned for processing. I think that's one thing that I think can be of help- because they'll tell if you it's been assigned for processing (but know that some have been told they ain't assigned and then magically get an approval :jest:). But as far as getting past that and actually getting an approval/RFE/anything from these requests, who knows!

Wishing you and the rest of my Augustines get their approvals before this month is over!

For me it helped.  The same day a service request was done for me, I received notification of an RFE.  The response was in 15minutes.  I received notification on the app and the website about the service request and then right after the notification came that it was resolved and my RFE was on the way.  By that time I was already at 196 days.
