Once you receive your case number it's time to be in charge of what time you choose when things get done. To smooth that trail for you I have a few things that will help you process your visa there in the Philippines.

Start by visiting Hanks site where he has taken the time and research, and of course it helps if you spent 8 plus years helping folks in the Philippines sub-forum get their visas, where he has listed each step. With those steps he includes the what, when and why to completing the item. Many have used the website and have had little or NO problems securing a visa from USEM.

http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

Next you'll want to connect with those who are processing through the Philippines in the VJ Philippines sub-forum that way you will be with like minded ppl who are sharing their experiences and also asking and answering questions. Since most in this thread are processing through another country they would be hard pressed to explain what is needed for the Philippines.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

You'll find this on Hank's website but I will give it to you early and that is the Packet 3 Letter for USEM. It's found here:

https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/

Here is the Packet 3 letter.

https://ph.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/82/2016/08/K1-and-K2-Applicant-Interview-Preparation-Instructions-08112016-English-336KB.pdf

There you have it. Everything you need to get your visa. Good luck and smooth sailing.

Hey thanks for the links.  I guess I should've mentioned that she's living in Dubai and will be interviewing in Abu Dhabi haha.  There is one wrinkle, though.  We need to do a K2 for her/our daughter but she still lives in Philippines with family.  She's 18.  I've read a couple of places that they will most likely insist that the daughter attend the mother's interview.  Does anyone know if this is standard practice in Abu Dhabi?  Follow to join is out of the question so we're trying to figure out how to do this.  If she needs to be present at the mother's interview, that's fine.  I just have not been able to find a definitive answer.

Hello guys, We received our NOA1 March 21 and we’re still waiting. There are filers who received their NOA2 but filed later than us,  I know there’s no definite pattern for NOA2 approval but is it okay if we call them and ask? I’m about to lose my mind waiting. Or will that be a red flag because we’re on a hurry?

Can someone give me the link of the old USCIS website? I don’t know that there’s an old and new but read it on other comments. I will just go check if it’ll give me different dates. Thanks in advance!!!

Your profile should reflect the Embassy that you will interview at as our answer are predicated on that information hence the I gave you Philippines information.

Cut and paste your question into a new thread in the Philippines sub forum. Link is in my post. Hank can answer your question and others.

Same boat my friend, March 05 as well and complete silence on the NOA2. We called and put in an enquiry but nothing. Mar 5 must be cursed or something, my advice to stop the insanity is to not look at visa journey, delete apps and "pretend" you never even filed. Literally carry on like you're not even engaged and prepare for the long wait to at least next March. Then worry.

-pats seat in boat- come join me.

Haha! Yea ive been checking this forum way less now, but i.still camt help myself from checking the status websites multiple times a day.... i never expect much though - we called too and they just said the standard "your in normal processing times" its just so infuriating! And at the moment i wish i could just pretend everything is okay but i dont have a job at the moment so all i have to do is worry and think about why we havent heard anything while most people are getting approvals everyday 😭😭 it doesnt help that they've pushed the processing times to 5.5- 7.5 months now too -_- its just such an unfair process - it should be first come first serve no matter what but ah well - glad you understand hah!

Doesn’t look like that list has been updated in years?

Here's a newer one - not too many people updating their status there, but hopefully it will help.

I have received a response from one person so far on how long it took to receive a response from the USCIS after sending their paperwork for the RFE. Can anyone else tell me your experience with sending your info after sending the RFE-- and how long it took for approval/to receive your NOA2? Also did everyone that received an RFE also get a response back from the USCIS when they received your corrected/updated paperwork for the RFE? I am just wondering if I should expect to hear from them once they receive my paperwork.
