Hello Fellow Marchies!

Question for anyone who may know. Once the NVC assigns a case number, can I call and schedule my Fiances doctors appointment/interview after filing the Ds160? or do I need more information first?

That is all done online for what ive herd .

Oh, that’s what I meant to say. Like, can I go online and do all the scheduling once I have that number? Or do I need another number after the NVC?

If you have the number that nvc gives you yes thats all you need once you fill that ds form you can go ahead and pay the visa fee & medical exams fee  and schedule the interview . I helped my friend with hers thats how i know . Idk the website exactly but there it tells you every step and its pretty easy . Goodluck

Actually, it really depends what country it's going to be in. They all do it differently. I recommend you see if your consulate has any information and also visit that country's regional forum here on VJ.

Petitioners can do it as long as you have the correct info!

and save the receipt and make copies. You're fiance will need the receipt for interview.

I've read of a few people calling. Is there any value or risk in calling just to see where things stand?
