thank you very much for your review! Hope you'll get the card soon.
I have an interview in 2 weeks and am scared a bit :)

I was scared too! And nervous! Hopefully you won't be scared once you're there. That's when I relaxed.

i have a question, which one is more reliable? the my.uscis.gov or the egov.uscis.gov? the things is in my.uscis.gov my aos case status is 'we reviewed your biometrics and are still processing your case' but in egov.uscis.gov my case status is 'your case is ready to be scheduled for interview' since may 14? i am kinda confused here

Neither... Both... Depends, haha.

I would say whichever has the most recent change is the one that is right most likely.

My case status says my interview has been scheduled (which it has, because it's next week), and the dhs website says case received and hasn't been updated since March when I sent the package.

:D So I just checked the "my.uscis.gov" website to check my case status and it says as of July 2: "We are producing your card and will mail it to you" for the green card application! We had our interview a little more than 2 weeks ago. Hopefully card will be in hand soon!

https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ is the new website I believe vs the egov.uscis.gov.

Is that something good if it is duplicated? The same thing happened to me yesterday and I just thought there was a glitch in the system but it is still duplicated today

Same thing for me as well, everything's duplicated for all 3 forms.

For those of you who have expedited your EAD and gotten your congressman involved, how did you find the appropriate person at your congressman's office to contact?

Probably a stupid question - but seeing as how I have never had to contact one, I am lost on where to begin.

Did anyone notice that the processing time for EAD (i-765) at the National Benefits Center (NBC) was January 12, 2018 two days ago and now it's December 31, 2017? I wonder if this will delay even more our EAD and AP :(

yes, just looked at it. This is absolutely RIDICULOUS.

I applied for expedite today based on financial hardship. I did it through my congressman, and I provided all the proof to show that we are definitely experiencing financial hardship.

Will let you all know if it was successful or not.

Still waiting on a job offer and couldn't wait any longer. I just decided to send all the documents showing credit cards maxed out and savings account depleted, late payment notices on some bills. In other words- Hey. We're BROKE and I need my EAD. I also stated that I'm interviewing for jobs right now, sent email correspondence of those from major companies, so they know. I said in my letter that because of our extreme financial hardship, I cannot afford to lose out on a job offer. Let's see what happens

I thought most companies won’t hire you if you can’t work legally... Very sad, we are having a tough time too !! Very ridiculous
