Then i am in the wrong forum

The only reason I said that was because someone thought people adjusting from K1s were being processed faster, I did not mean you didn't belong in this thread or anything. As you stated, it seems like we are all married to USC, so we are all adjusting through family, and therefore our timelines should be similar. I even said on my previous post that "I am not sure if it matters if you are married to a USC though because you are still family based and under the same section as the rest of us."

Tomalley i posted that, don't know how it came under your name.i am sorry. How can i put it back in my name or delete "

Thanks Guy my comment was based on one of us who categorically stated this forum are for those adjusting from K1 or K2 not those adjusting to C9. So i guessed even though many of us are adjusting to C9 but not from K1 then we are on the wrong thread so i started a thread for those adjusting from B1/B2 notwithstanding it doesn't matter as it is same process they will go through to be approved."

Oh, I can’t delete it because it was not in my account either. But it is ok. Don’t worry.

I would agree... It seems to have slowed down in the new year :( I have been waiting on my EAD & AP for 5 months. People I met through here who sent their documents in september/october 2017 received approval in 2 MAX 3 months.

wishing everyone luck!!

I did read some people say 2018 filers have interview quicker than 2017 filers.. but it is probably not true.. Ugh, hate this waiting so much since I have waited 10 months for my K visa. Now it is even worse to stuck in the USA doing nothing!

Good Morning everyone 😊

So I woke up this morning and received an email saying that my travel document was approved but I didn’t get an update on my i-765. Do you guys think I will get a combo card? I did file both at the same time. Can anyone tell me if they got the same update and received the combo please. Thank you

Nice! I saw people on here that had only their EAD approved but received the combo card, so I am pretty positive that you will get both AP and EAD too!

We just received a notification that my husband's I-485 case is ready for interview. We haven't heard anything for EAD / AP. Our biometrics appointment was on May 9th. Is this normal? Since they're scheduling the interview for LPR, can we expect EAD / AP approval soon? TIA!

Unfortunately, ready for interview, doesn’t mean much. You have to wait until it changes to schedule your interview. That means you will have your interview soon.

Had our interview today. Went super smooth and we were only asked basic questions from form 485 (the officer was making notes that the answers match on the form. I think he didn't want to trick us but just made sure we didn't make mistakes while filing), then yes/no questions and the how we met. That's it!

He did chat with us about where we live, the weather in Russia comparing to Nebraska, about South Dakota's weather (I worked there on J1 visa before).

He did'nt sk for any of the documents at all and just handed us the paper with approval for me to sign
