I am sorry i didnt read your question correctly LOL... So after i got my NOA2 I started calling NVC (+1-603-334-0700 option - 1 and - 5 ), and today they gave me the NVC # (RJD2018XXXXXX ) I did my consultation at this website https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=NIV and the case was changed to received to in transit. So then I submtied the DS-160 from and tried to pay the fees https://ais.usvisa-info.com/pt-br/iv, but the website says my case is still not ready to schedule the appointment. So I believe i will be able to pay the fees and schedule my interview and exam after my case is showing as ready on CEAC website.

this is SO HELPFUL!  my fiancé is in Rio too... I'm hoping I will here soon since I was recvd NOA2 January 10th... <3  brigada e bjs querida.

Just an update, we got our hard RFE letter in the mail on Monday 22nd (although it was mailed on the 16th), sent the RFE back on Tuesday 23rd, but missed the deadline for overnight, so it should be arriving sometime today, and I'm hoping it might update on the web that they've received it by the end of today. Then back to the NOA2 wait for a bit longer, hopefully this time it's an approval.

It's encouraging to see NOA2 > NVC seems to be speeding up though! I might just make it to America for my April 13th event after all. Still gonna be tight though! :P

My thoughts are with ya'll, we're gonna get through this!

I just got this email from CSC. It is in response to an email I sent last week to CDC and is not part of the phone conversations or Congressional inquiry. I’m not sure if this is another “kick the can down the road” response or not.

Thank you for your inquiry. Your case is currently being adjudicated. You should receive a notice of action* within 45 days.

*A notice of action may be in a form of Approval Notice, Denial Notice, Transfer Notice , Request for Evidence, or Notice of Intent to Deny.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.

John, I got the same note on Jan 16 after an inquiry.  I called yesterday, talked to tier 2, and they said an RFE went in the mail to me on Monday (1/22).  They said I should receive it in the mail this weekend or before.  No updates online or on the app.  6/27 filer...

you mean you got your NVC case number in 29 days? and were you calling every day. I'm at day 15... so I am wondering when I should "start calling" ( I already have twice bahahaha) but I told myself I'm gonna wait until next Friday ( day 23)

I have my MNL case number and invoice number. I asked my man to call on the 3rd week, then they told him to call the next week, and when he did, he got the nvc case number and the invoice number :)
