Hey, @Shoegum, when  you run the scan, can you also show the breakdown of many total "untouched" cases there are and by receiving date please?

 

I haven't seen that breakdown in a while, and just curious to see what else is left for May. I hope you're okay!!!

So... our file is at Montreal US Consulate for two weeks. I tried to send Packet3 on 28th of Nov but I received an email: do not send it, we are working on your file bla bla bla

No update in the case status since that date. Is it ok if I send them an email asking about the status of our application? Or I don't have to disturb them :rolleyes:

This never ending waiting is killing me...

I-129F sent - April 24th 2017     CSC date received - April 27th 2017   NOA1 date - May 1st 2017

RFE - CSC sent October 2nd (case tracker shows 27th September)  RFE - received October 5th  RFE - sent back to CSC  October 6th  RFE- CSC received -October 7th (case tracker shows October 13th) 

NOA2 date - October 18th 2017(case tracker shows October 19th), NOA2 Hard copy -October 24th;  NVC #assigned - November 15th NVC left November 21st

Consulate received - November 28th Packet 3 sent - December 18th; Packet 4 received - December 22nd; Medical exam - January 3rd 2018; Interview -January 17th 2018 APPROVED

Visa issued - January 18th Visa delivered - January 19th POE - January 28th

Biometrics appointement - March 30th 2018 (requests received March 16th), 2nd Biometrics appointment for EAD for one of my K2s - April 16 2018

New card is being prepared for I-765 - August 13 2018 (online status), Card is mailed - August 16 2018 (online status), Received approvals for i-130 and i-765, also letter for interview - August 17 2018, Status updated to USPS received your Card - August 17 2018, EAD/AP combo cards received in mailbox - August 18 2018,

SSN cards(K1+K2) received in mailbox August 20 2018

Interview - August 29 2018 Green card for me K1 received September 7th 2018, K2s received 2 weeks later

That's what I'm hoping too!  Just by Christmas at this point.  All my hopes of together before year end left last month.  Just frustrating that June is in full swing it looks and yet we're waiting.  Why ours?  Congressman even said it's on adjuicator's desk but they have to allow them 30-45 days to complete it!  That's insane.  They should be allowed to ask weekly as long as this has been.  So I can't write back until December 27th to inquire again.  Just hope they don't say "allow more time".

@Maria1989 I just saw a May 17th notification come through on the tracker. It's a RFE....is that You? It had no country listed just said USA

Yep... I actually said that too. I said "Thank you for being so understanding... as you can imagine, it's really frustrating for us on the other side since everything has been done, and we are just waiting for our petitions to be mailed..."

 

He did say that there are a lot of things that go on behind the scenes that we don't know about, which I expected as well, so there is likely an explanation for all of the delays that they cannot say to us publicly. Just sucks. It's probably due to "national security" issues or something that is holding up the entire process for us :/ because they are literally holding on the the approvals after Oct 27 without mailing them. It makes me so mad.

Yes but that's the biggest problem...They're not transparent with us at all. I understand security reasons but they don't even provide ANY information they just tell you to wait 45 days more pretty much with a few exceptions.

I got an RFE  and replied immediately, they received my reply on November 16, here we are 27 days later and still have not heard anything. Bad enough it took 6 months to even touch my case and now I am waiting almost another month and have not heard a word. The worst part is the RFE was for info I already sent originally. USCIS is totally incompetent.

Hey guys 

 

Not posted for a little bit now, been in the new NVC struggle...but wanted to share that we just spoke to them and they confirmed our number just now!!!! Our NOA2 date was 30th October so believe some movement is finally here for everyone who is waiting!!! YIPEEEEEE

 

For those still waiting, wishing you the best of luck and sending positive vibes for both NOA2 and NVC numbers!

 

Will keep everyone updated on next steps as anxious to see how quickly things look in London for medical and interview.
