Thank you, as for the ticket, not as bad as it could be.  She arrives Friday evening in Seattle and we will spend the night there.

Had my embassy interview Nov, 29th and got approved that day. Was tolled my passport would be mailed whiting 10 days, that did not happen.
Today the CEAC finally changed from Ready for interview, to Administrative Processing. It also says "If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days." Anyone know if that information is reliable, will they actually mail it within 2 days???

Hi  This would be embassy specific. So if that's what they are telling you I would assume they will send it within two working days, maybe you could call them?. Its funny because I'm Norwegian too but don't know much about the US embassy in Norway as I went through London.

It always goes to Administrative Processing right before it switches to Issued. Odd that it took them so long after the interview to go through that though. When CEAC switches to Issued then you should expect delivery of the Visa in that two day window provided they mail them back to you in Norway.

Thanks for the Input  Actually K1 visas go through the US embassy in Stockholm. Calling them is also completely useless, as the person you call does not actually work at the Embassy, and can't provide any more information. E-mail is the best way to contact them, but they are selective in what questions they bother to answer over e-mail.

Yes the passport has to be mailed from Stockholm Sweden to me in Norway. Probably will take more than 2 days, as I have been tolled by the embassy that they use regular  mail services, and it is the week before Christmas. Literally the  slowest week of the year for mail to be send in Norway 
Does issues mean that the passport has left the embassy? Or does it mean that the passport is ready to be picked up by the mail service at the embassy.

Issued means that the Embassy has printed the Visa and it is ready for pickup by the mail service. The CEAC website doesn't update beyond that. If you had to use ustraveldocs.com for Norway like my fiance did for Nepal that website is actually better for tracking the Visa/Passport. We were able to track based on her passport number where it was and that told us when it was available for pickup before she got any message to come pick it up (Nepal does everything through the main bank in the country).
