Any September filers in Seattle still waiting for interview scheduling? I'm about to hit the 1 year mark for waiting and I'm getting really nervous. Like, did they lose the application? Did the notice get lost inbetween junk mail, etc.

Does anyone know if you get an e-mail for the interview date if you filed the G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance form with K-1?

From what I have read, you only get the notice saying an update or interview was scheduled, you will get the actual date in the letter only.

So even the site won't get updated with an interview date?

Don't worry too much Moosy. I filed around a week later than you and I just barely realized that "my interview is ready to be scheduled". (Which is really weird because I found out a couple of days ago when I happened to log in to the new website... It's also weird because it said the date for this notification being April 4. Now, I'm pretty sure I checked my account between april 3rd and the day I found out, so how that happened I don't know.... It's weird to think that in theory i've been waiting for my interview since april all of the sudden. It could be a mistake but I really don't think so... I feel like it's just a system delay or something... Anyways I wanted to reply to you and also update you guys with this.)

I say don't worry, I'm not gonna tell you it's gonna be "anytime". It's gonna be an actual day, you just don't know which... hahaha sorry if that didnt help at all lol 😂

Nah, check previous messages in other forums and here: most people received an update recently (two weeks or so ago) about something mid-March. I had one as well, and I sure checked both websites multiple times in between. I thought it meant an interview letter, too, but it isn't, apparently. I have been waiting for an interview date since October 3 (my biometrics), and looking at others in metro Atlanta, the letter will hopefully come this month or the next.

Ah damn :( Oh well. Did that status on your account go away after a while? Cuz mine still says that 😕 and also, the post I found that said that also noted that "an outage led to a bunch of interviews being scheduled" or something like that, while mine says that an interview is ready to be scheduled, not that it has been. Don't know if I'm overthinking and it's just a mistake or what but ugh, this process can drive you nuts. And my biometrics were also done on the same day as yours haha.

Hey anybody could walk me through what documents they provided for EAD/travel visa renewal?

What are the documents we need to submit? Just the proof of our pending AOS? and file the EAD form again?

Are u in the same area or like different states?
If same area-has no impact since mos likely, it will be the same local office

if you're moving states back and forth in states, you might want to be careful
NBC moves ur case to the local office whenever the local office is ready for the case. once a local office gets it, I've heard that moving it back can be a pain! So if USCIS has one address on file and sends ur case to that office and u move to somewhere that makes it difficult/impossible to attend that office's interview, then you're in for some hard times.
Also, make sure USCIS has the most up to date address so you don't lose mail.

Otherwise, there really isn't an "issue" with moving.

PD: Sept 1 2017

Have interview on Sept 11th, 2018 in NYC. The interview was super quick, less than 20 mins. The officer told me they have to complete certain process, if nothing goes wrong, I should expect the card within 30 days.

Did my AOS interview today in Denver, CO. AOS package was received on September 20th 2017, so pretty much exactly 1 year after, even with an RFIE last October. The officer was recently transferred from the Florida office and he said the backlog there was way worse.

Interview went super smooth, officer was very nice, I had an updated I-864, new tax forms, medical form, so he said he needed to look at those but everything looked good and should get the card in ~1 month.

Best of luck!

Finally good news for this Atlanta filer: last Saturday (15 September) at 4pm (do they even work on Saturdays?!) I received a text that my AOS case had been updated, and it referred to the old site.

An hour after, I received an email about the same thing (but from the new site), notifying me that they had given me an interview date. The old site has been standing on "biometrics fee received" (the initial status) since October 2017, so it's good to see they updated both websites for us.

They received my file on 11 September 2017, so almost exactly one year later I finally had an update.

I have yet to receive the actual interview date letter of course.

And today, I received my notification of action on my renewal of parole, together with a letter which is my parole letter. I have a combo card with EAD, so I find this document pretty awkward. They let me know a week earlier that they had approved both my AP and EAD renewals which they received on 1 August 2018. (They would have expired end of November). I did not use those scanning pieces they gave me, because I forgot, so it might be good to know for those who didn't do that either, that a renewal is still faster than an original.

So happy about finally seeing that we're going to have an interview. Was losing hope. I am assuming it will be end of October or start of November, and will update my timeline once I know.

The wait will be worth it, fellow waiters!
